  Our Church History 

  Trinity Baptist Church was formerly known as Muskegon
  Heights Baptist Church and held its first service on the  
  second Sunday of August 1891. The Rev. J.C. Jacobs
  dedicated the building at the corner of Sanford and Hovey
  Streets in the Heights on March 3, 1892.

  Under the leadership of Pastor Glenn E. Dewey, new
  property was purchased at S. Sheridan and Emens, in
  Fruitport Township. A new worship center was built and
  dedicated in June of 1968. The church eventually changed
  its name to Trinity Baptist Church and is currently part of
  the General Association of Regular Baptist Churches.

  Most recently, a new Activity Center was completed and
  dedicated to the Lord's service on March 10, 2002.
