  Plan of Salvation 

  God wants every person to go to heaven, but He cannot allow you to enter in to Heaven the way you are. Every person has sinned, and sin is what displeases God. Things like lying, wanting what others have, and not obeying your parents, are just a few of the ways people sin. In the Bible, Romans 3:23 says, "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God."

  In Romans 6:23, the Bible says, "For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." This means that the price of sin is death in the terrible place called hell, and separation from God forever.

  God has provided a way to spend eternity with Him in Heaven. The Bible says that God loves us so much, He sent His only begotten son, Jesus, to die on the cross to pay for our sins. 1 Corinthians 15:3, 4 says that, "Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; and that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures."

  Because Jesus died on the cross for our sins, he wants to give you the gift of eternal life in Heaven. But, in order to receive this wonderful gift, you must receive Jesus as your Savior. In Romans 10:9 we read, "if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved." Also, Romans 10:13 says, "For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved."

  Receiving this precious gift is simple:

A. Admit that you are a sinner.
B. Believe that Jesus died for you, was buried,  
     and rose again the third day.
C. Call upon Jesus to save you.

After reading this simple plan on how to be saved and know that you can spend eternity in Heaven, you may want to pray a prayer similar to this, accepting Jesus as your Savior:

Lord, I know that I am a sinner and ask you to forgive my sins.

I believe that JESUS paid for my sins when He died on the cross, and I believe He rose again just like the Bible says. Please come into my life and help me to live for you every day. Thank You for saving me.
